About the Presenters

Some background about the ABCs of Kynar® PVDF team.

Averie PALOVCAK

Market & Applications Engineering Mngr.

Averie earned her B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Drexel University. Since then, she has worked closely with end-users of thermoplastics with a heavy focus on fluoropolymers in the chemical processing and other other industrial markets.

Dave SEILER

Americas Business Manager

Dave earned his B.S. Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and has since worked with Kynar® PVDF for over 30 years (earning him the nickname "Mr. Kynar"). Dave is an industry expert and intimately understands the legacy of Kynar® PVDF and the bright future it holds.

Jim HENRY

Senior Research Engineer

Jim earned his M.S. in Chemical & Plastics Engineering from Univserity of Massachusetts - Lowell. He has worked for Arkema for 20+ years and specializes in the area of fluoropolymers research and technical support for customers across a wide range of industries.

Gene ALPIN

Sales Engineer

Gene earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. Since then, he has worked with thermoplastics with a heavy focus on the use of PVDF in the chemical processing industry and other industrial markets.

Bob LOWRIE

Marketing & Sales Engineer

Bob earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and has since worked with fluoropoylmers and other thermoplastics. Bob's main area of focus has been wire and cable, but also includes other industrial markets.

Ryan ZAKSZESKI

Global MarCom Manager

Ryan earned his B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his M.B.A from Villanova University. He works closely with commercial and R&D teams to help bring innovative solutions to the market.
